Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Land-Use Planning Assistant provides administrative support to the Planning Team.
Take initial calls (most) and respond to initial emails for planning requests
Liaison between client & planning department
Send out general emails regarding the whole severance process as requested by calls/emails
Contact/Consult with Municipalities/Counties/Conservation Authority when needed
Set up CRM/Opportunity folders & send out quotations
Sent out documents/planning reports to client
Review Municipalities/Counties/Conservation Authority information
Should be knowledgeable about severance processes to obtain proper information during initial calls.
Should have a knowledge/understanding of the polices/bylaws of the various municipalities and agencies involved in pre-consult and to prepare applications.
